Day 51: Out on the Hunt
Today we let Bailey outside for the first time. She had a blast chasing chipmunks, but was a bit spooked of all the new sights, smells, and sounds. I thought she looked like a wildcat in the tall grass in this photo. I need to get a photo of her in a chase scene with a chipmunk.
LOVE this shot, Alex! The grass, the perfect position of her head and body and the expression on her face - it's just great! The color of her eyes with the grass is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo.
ReplyDeleteWow, beautiful shot. You let her out...and she's still with you?? I would have thought she would have taken off for the wilderness!
ReplyDeleteDid you have a hard time getting her to come back? Nice shote, an action shot with a fight scene and maybe a bit of gore would be perfect for sis.
ReplyDeleteI enlarged your photo - Bailey is just beautiful. Am surprised she didn't take off. Can't wait to see her again.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Bailey looked really beautiful out in the grass. She looked and acted like a wild cat chasing the elusive chipmunk. However, I don't think she has any intention on bolting away. Her food is inside. She ran around where the chipmunk scent and trails took her. Our original worries about having her outside were concerns about hawks, coyotes, and getting stolen if she got used to going off the property. We will probably let her out again, but only within eyesight of us.
ReplyDeleteJohn - I will do my best to get the munched chipmunk photo.
Maybe you could try her with a leash?
